Hi, everyone. My name is Alaunah. So, I can just start saying, you know, I moved down here at an extremely young age. I moved to North Carolina from Boston at 18 years old, all by myself with a one-year-old. No clue what I'm doing, but just winging it.
When I first started working here and I saw all of the services that LearnLux had to offer, like the classes. I was extremely grateful.
I spent all night going through them, just reading about the different types of insurance that I can get to protect me and my child in accidents. Reading about the different types of accounts that I can use like HSAs. I had no idea what an HSA was. Learning about estate accounts, learning about, just honestly, anything you could think of related to financial literacy.
I got all those classes at no cost and it was extremely, extremely helpful. And I'm so grateful to be able to get to see that and read that. And it's explained at a level to even if you don't know what they're talking about, you'll know by the end of it.
I'm working every day - five, six days a week - trying to make a name for myself. I think LearnLux has definitely helped me to start building my solid foundation because now I know what I'm talking about. I can tell the people around me.
