“I've always struggled with saving. I didn’t know how much to save, what goals to set, or how to make anything realistic. Using LearnLux helped me finally understand my monthly expenses and build a savings plan I can actually stick to. For the first time, saving feels attainable instead of overwhelming.” - Olive P., Bank Teller
For HR and Benefits leaders, Olive’s story represents a common challenge: many employees want to save money, but don’t have the tools, guidance, or confidence to build a realistic plan. This often leads to financial stress, disengagement, and missed opportunities to build long term stability.
With LearnLux, Olive was able to:
Olive’s experience shows how financial education tools help employees replace guesswork with confidence. When team members can build realistic saving plans and avoid financial strain, they become more stable, less stressed, and more engaged, all of which directly impacts wellbeing, productivity, and retention.
Hi, my name is Olive and I am here today to talk about the experience I had with the LearnLux lessons. I have always struggled with saving. I never knew amounts, I never knew goals to work towards, and I would always give myself something really unattainable and then be upset when I couldn't reach it.
I would try and every paycheck put as much into a savings account as I could, and then inevitably I didn't have enough money in my checking and I would transfer it all out. I was having a lot of difficulty trying to manage where I was going to put my money, where everything was going to be placed, and how I could save for something effectively.
Since using the LearnLux lessons, I was actually able to calculate my monthly expenses, all of my bills that are due, and how much I make per paycheck. I was able to calculate that into what I should efficiently save a month, at least for bills. And then what I could do to put it towards my savings.
With this program, I was really able to see the numbers and get something attainable rather than dreaming high and not being able to reach it and then feeling crushed afterwards. It was really nice to be able to see that broken down and get an explanation of what you should save and how to do it.
Thank you Olive for sharing your story!
